Whips Cupcake

18:42

Cupcakes are the latest craze these days. My Instagram feed is constantly filled with close-up shots of cupcakes with delicious looking frostings, dainty decorations and hashtags of '#twelvecupcakes'.

Deciding that twelve cupcakes is probably too mainstream, I've decided to try Whips Cupcakes. I was totally smitten by their mini cupcakes seated in a pink box, peeking out through the clear window. Sized at a perfect 3cm, they are just right for a bite, leaving you enough stomach space to try out their other unique flavours without stuffing yourself silly.

Indecisive over the flavours to choose, I've gotten Marshmallow, Strawberry, Green Tea, Red Velvet and Cookies & Cream.

The cute little design of the Red Velvet cupcake totally blew me away. The frosting was thick, not too creamy with the perfect tinge of cheesiness. It was moist, but rather filling, so I guess it was the right choice to go for the mini ones.

The Cookies & Cream cupcake had a really nice chocolate-y taste. The butter creamor cream cheese tasted pretty similar to that of the red velvet cupcake's, just that this time round, I could taste the little specks of Oreos in it.

Don't you think this marshmallow cupcake looks absolutely adorable with the explosion of colours?

Strawberry and green tea!

Final verdict? Perfect! These cupcakes will definitely steal the limelight when you present them for picnics or potlucks with your besties/buddies. They will make pretty awesome little treats for your friends on their birthdays too.
