Recipe: Cheese crepe

It's been so long since I've last had crepes!

I thought it would be pretty cool to try making some at home. If this attempt proves successful, that would mean a never-ending crepe supply for me from my kitchen. HEHE.

Thankfully, the crepes from my virgin crepe-making experience turned out perfect! They are super photogenic too!

Here's the recipe:

Ingredients (Serves 4)

- 2 eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose white flour
- 1/4 cup butter (melted)
- 2/3 cup cold water
- Salt, pepper, italian herbs
- Mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 4 tablespoonfuls of cold milk
- 2 cups cabbage
- 1 tomato
- 1 cup sweet corn
- 4 crabmeat sticks
- 4 slices of ham
- Sliced mushrooms (optional)

1. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, flour, butter, milk, water, salt, pepper and herbs. Process till smooth.

2. Heat a non-stick saucepan and lightly grease with butter.

3. Pour 1.5 ladles of batter and coat the bottom of pan. Flip when batter's top appears dry.

4. Remove crepe from pan. Add the rest of the ingredients into the crepe.

5. Roll crepes tightly and microwave for 2 minutes. Alternatively, you could roll crepe up in aluminium foil and bake till cheese melts (5 minutes).

6. Top with mayonnaise and serve.
